Speakers:

Carmel McCarthy RGN, BScN, DFSRH, FRT, NMP Carmel is the Contraception and Sexual Health Lead Nurse for the University of Nottingham Health Service. She is a coil and implant fitter, a Faculty Registered Trainer and member of the Primary Care Women’s Health Forum education committee.

 Laura Garner RGN, BSc (Hons), MPH, GIHP PGcert is Senior Clinical Nurse Specialist and Non-Medical Prescriber at the Nottingham Centre for Transgender Health and has a special interest in sexual health and working with neurodivergent people.  Laura is the founding member of the National Nurses in Gender Network and has a passion for developing the nursing role in transgender healthcare.
