Important information for Student Health Association Members
It is with regret that in these difficult times we have had to cancel the planned annual conference for obvious reasons, in line with national guidelines.
As a result there will also be no Annual General Meeting this year. After discussion with the Charity Commission we will postpone this until next year’s conference.
I would like to express my thanks to the team at York St John who have put a great deal of time and effort into organising this event. We really value everything they have done.
We are hoping to provide a Spring session sharing learning and innovations that will surely come from recent events to take home something positive from all of this. This will hopefully also include some advice on staff wellbeing and resilience too.
We will keep you informed as this idea progresses.
In order for the charity to continue its work supporting students with disabilities, as well as providing networking and education for us, we need your continuing support. Please consider renewing your memberships as usual as the charity is reliant on this income.
In other news, we have vacancies on the Executive Committee for a Student Enablement Fund agent and an Education Convenor. If anyone would like to consider these roles or would like to find out more please do not hesitate to contact us.
